Okinawa
Okinawa was Ryukyu kingdam untill 1609. Since then, they created their own culture; dance and music, language, food and alcohol. The best season to visit Okinawa is of course summer! But it is too expensive and there are lots of people and people...... You know in winter, it is about half cost to visit and visiters are few! Its tempreture is about 20℃, though you should not swim in the sea you can enjoy the sea with boat or submarine.
Place I'd like to visit is whatever islands exept main one. Main island is much more clear and beautiful than Honsyu, but among Ryukyu islands, it is dirty. Miyako-jima, Taketomi-jima, Ishigaki-jima are so beautiful, nature still remaind as it is. And I really want to go to Tyuraumi aquarium!
I miss warm and summer.

Miyajima
Miyajima is choosen one of the best 3 Japanese site-seeing.
And Miyajima is also choosen a world heritage site.
It is in Hiroshima,in the Inside sea of Japan(setonaikai).
Sometimes it is on the land, with the tide gone out.
There are lots of wild deer. Actually, they are not wild.
There used to be wild deer, but all of them were killed by American after world war 2.
So deer now living in Miyajima were taken from Nara.
They are cute, but you have to be careful. Sometimes they attack people
If you go to Hiroshima, you can go to Miyajima easily by ferry!

Minato Mirai 21
Some people say “In which prefecture is Yokohama?” , when asked. Yokohama is in Kanagawa. I think Yokohama is more famous than its prefecture, KanagawaJ
I’ve been there, no, just gone through this summer. Yokohama is where I really want to go among big cities. I prefer Yokohama than Tokyo!
Minato mirai 21 is so much modern place,
which has many building, shopping mall, amusement park or place, tower and whatever!
it is also a kind of date spot, night view of minato mirai 21 is so romantic.
And I also want to go to Chinese town, biggest in Japan, Yokohama baseball stadium.

Sadogashima
Sadogashima belongs to Niigata prefecture, and is famous for Toki, a bird. Academic name of it is Nipponia Nippon, but Japanese national bird is Kiji, hahaha.
Toki is facing with extinction. It lives in mainly east Asia,(China, Korea, and Japan),but in 2003, Kin, a last Japanese original Toki, was died. So now we have only Chinese Toki in Japan. it is Sadogashima that have them to bleed and let them live in wild.
In the past, Sadogashima is a place that those exiled to. it is said that it had original culture, like a traditional performing arts (they are still coming down), but because of exile mostly from Kyoto, the culture of Sadogashima and West Japan was mixed and formed a particular one.
There are lots of good scenery places of Mountains and See! Especially, Senkakuwan is very famous. The see is so clear and has lots of shelf of coral!

Izu peninsula
Izu peninsula lies in Shizuoka prefecture.
Izu peninsula is famous for hot spring area.
In the past, Izu peninsula was just a island, not jointed to Main island,
but guradually jointed because of plate tectonics about one million years ago.
The land is taken over mountains and little flat land. There lots of beautiful shores. For best, it is very warm!!
Many famous cities are there, and some have become locations for movies or TV dramas.
Of course, lots of historical things or building there though, I really like its beautiful nature and towns. And hot springs!!!!

Izumo Taisha
Izumo Taisha is the oldest Shinto shrine in Japan.
Izumo, a country, is known as a God’s country.
Izumo Taisha is the center of places to enshrine
Ookuninushinoookami(大国主大神),called Daikokusama,
who created the world and formed a base of our lives.
In Japanese, October is Kannazuki, meaning no God. That is because eight millions of God’s from All over Japan gather to Izumo Taisha
to talk about things happened in a year, but commonly said about marriage tie. Its Shinto affected all over Japan and it is still the roots of our culture and mind. We are getting them lost after war, but I’d keep up to our descendant cause they are what we are.

Cape Chikiu
Cape Soya, Erimo, Nosappu, Shakotan.......so Hokkaido is King of Cape!
Cape Chikiu is in Muroran, which has also interesting geographically as well as Hakodate.
It is a land-tied island and there is about 100m bluff.
You can see a wonderful view from there.
Chikiu is named after a Ainu word, Chikepu for bluff.
Cape Chikiu is also named Cape Chikyu(earth) after its view.
when you go to Cape Chikiu, you can also enjoy Muroran city, which flourished with steel industry.
I want to eat Muroran Yakitori, in fact which is pork!
Nagasaki
What is Nagasaki famous for? What might you come up with?
As you know, Nagasaki has been through histrical important event as well as Tsushima.
It had strong relathionship with foreign countries. Dejima is the only port for foreign trade, especially Holland and Portugal in Edo period, so Nagasaki has been affected by their culture.
And Nagasaki was atomic-bombed by America as well as Hiroshima. I've been to Hiroshima on school trip to learn its damege, how people there think about it, or how Japan take it. I'd like to see and learn them in Nagasaki.
Not only these, there are lots of things you can enjoy.
Nagasaki champon, Huis Ten Bosch, Glover garden, Sasebo burger.......etc.
I think Nagasaki is most interesting place in Japan.
You can definitely have a good time in Nagasaki.

Mt.Fuji
Mt. Fuji is an active volcano. According to the record of the past, there were several eruptions, and the last one was in 1707.
The damage of it was terrible with many people killed, geography changed.
So it is said that there will be next eruption in the near future.
If so, Tokyo area would be seriously damaged.
Mt. Fuji is the symbol of Japan for its magnificence.
Mt. Fuji gives us energy and beautiful-mind.
I think that’s the one of the roots of Japanese mind.
Not everyone, but many people worship Mt. Fuji, either do I. I’d like to go up to the top of Mt. Fuji before I die.

Tsushima
Do you know where it is?
It lies just between Kyusyu and Korea, so Tsushima is the very border between Japan and Korea.
Tsushima is famous for its history and beautiful saw-toothed coastline and sea.
Tsushima has been through so many experiences as borderland
and now still facing crisis of being taken over by Korea.
It’s very interesting that you can see night view of Pusan from Tsushima.
There are more interesting places in Tsushima.
I would like to sea-kayak, visit shrines, so many!!!
But what I really want to do most is to see what is happening in Tsushima.
We have to protect our Tsushima.

Yakushima
Everyone knows Yakushima, but you know where it is?!?!?!It is an island, lying a bit south of Kyusyu, west of Tanegashima, so it belongs to Kagoshima prefecture.
Yakushima is famous for its mysterious nature and having been a scene of a movie, "Princess mononoke". In Yakushima, there are about 40 species endemic to Yakushima and many old trees, especially Japanese cedar, "Sugi" in Japanese. It is said that there is 72oo years old Japanese cedar, called Jomonsugi, among them. It's amazing! I think God lives there, protecting its nature. And Its sea is also beautiful and sea turtles lay eggs on its beach every year. Wonderful!
Uh........Yakushima calls me!
